Toy store wonderland
Full of things I’ll never own
My joy and sorrow
Very nice haiku. Too true. My response poem:
my joy and sorrow
nose pressed tight against the glass
the sight burns my soul
Alice
Let the heart envy
The soul is for greater things
Life and love burn there
((SIGH)) Lovely and true. 🙂
Thanks, Alice.
Truth be told, as soon as I posted the poem, I realized that rather than “heart” I should have written “eyes.” After all, the heart too is for bigger and better things than envy! Leave that for the hungry eyes. But too late. I am too hasty.
Still. Lovely. And keep writing. 🙂
Beautiful … the Haiku and your response !
Thanks. You are very kind. 🙂
Thanks,Kokila.
Jiminy! and Yikes! The blue frog for the links is gone! I posted yesterday on this one. I shall rattle the cage of the site administrator and see if it can be fixed. Perhaps it’s just me. 😉
